An illustrated history of London Fashion Week, in a scarf… I die!

It seems the longer I work in this business, the less I’m surprised.
However, when I am surprised, I know I’m onto a good thing – a thing worth
sharing.

A few years ago I had the great pleasure of meeting a very talented
illustrator on Twitter. I was taken with her way of translating fashion through
illustration and her incredible ability in getting noticed in a very loud
world. Fashion illustrators are a dime a dozen and this is no easy place to stick
out from the crowd. But Niki Groom (Miss Magpie Fashion Spy) is standout fabulous. And she just upped the
anty. Niki has put all her social illustrations to work in a beautiful scarf,
which she sent to me last week, as it seems I was a bit of a contributor to said
scarf. Illustrator Niki Groom took all her instagram illustrations from fashion
week pictures of old and brought them together in an accessory that I feel is
almost too precious to wear. In fact, I’m already thinking about how I can
frame this beautiful piece. So what was my contribution? Well, Niki used my
love affair with Christopher Kane and made my obsession last forever. Check
this out… fabulous!

Thank you, Niki, for being a daily inspiration.
