For those of you that have been following the Boomer Golden Retriever Chronicles, you'll know that our little man adopted a brother, named Brody, in March. I got to meet the new addition to the family for the first time this week and it's been a rather entertaining weekend we've spent together, from Fourth of July feasts to rolling in the mud.
Boomer and I have, as expected, been inseparable. We've watched Wimbledon, made Lobster Rolls, gone for long walks and shared a snuggle or too. Sounds like an ideal romantic relationship. Mr. FFG, don't get too jealous - I'll be back to London soon enough. The pleasant surprise in all of this is how Brody has fit right in like the missing piece of the puzzle. He's the peas to our carrots, the peanut butter to our jam. We are a trio like none other and we're out for trouble. Although my definition of trouble was never all about eating socks, rolling in mud created by heavy rains and trying to steal lobster tails from kitchen sinks. Oh dogs, you have all the fun.
Here's a quick glimpse at our weekend together. More to come... so hope you're in a dog loving mood this summer.
