Coming to Harrods: Pradasphere

Over the past few years Harrods has brought some serious A-game to designer exclusives. Should you need a reminder, check out a flashback to the Dior takeover of Harrods from this time last year. From windows to a floor takeover, including rebranding the lifts, etc, when a brand embarks on a special project with Harrods, they takeover.

The latest brand announcement is one that has us dancing around the office. Prada is coming to Harrods and they’re calling the takeover “Pradasphere.”

We don’t have too much info yet and no pictures to share. We can, however, tell you that the exhibition will open in May and will act as a walk through time with Prada, displaying their talents in everything from fashion to cinema. As with previous takeovers, Pradasphere will invade the famous Harrods windows. We know that the windows will feature pieces from the Prada archives, as well as a capsule collection developed exclusively for Harrods.

Oh, and there will also be a Pradasphere cafe. Oh holy heck-ola. If you need us for the month of May, you know where to find us – sipping tea in Pradasphere.
