First look: J.Crew's London Flagship store

posted on: Thursday, 7 November 2013

Hold on to your hats, London, there’s another American brand in town and their moving in the section of Regent Street that has recently been nicknamed the American Quarter. We’re speaking of course of the long awaited launch of J Crew. This is a store that could be one of the most hyped that London has seen open in years. First we dealt with the rumours of “would they or wouldn’t they.” Then there was the gossip about where they would open the store, after the announcement that it was actually coming to London.

Now the big day is here. J Crew will open their London doors officially tomorrow morning and we have a feeling there will be people waiting to get their first purchases in. For Americans, the new J Crew is everything you’d expect from the brand and more. The feel is more or less the same, while there are lovely quintessentially British touches found throughout – such as the “Brilliant” light fixture behind the cash register, or the London phonebox that stands confidently in the opening foyer.

We don’t want to ruin the overall feel for you, so we’ll leave the bigger picture for you to discover on your own. However, here are a few teasing detail shots for those of you that are wondering what you can expect come Friday morning.

Enjoy and shop away! For more information on this and other stores opening in the UK, visit J Crew's London holding page

  1. I am in love with that glitter robot, cannot wait to visit the store, having it near by is a dream! I actually just did a post on my blog about my utter fashion lust for Jenna, she is so exceptionally cool, as I am sure is the store.
