I was in Coach the other day, doing what I do best… shopping. This season, the shoes are “off the hook.” Oh yeah, I just swung that phrase out there. From metallic flats to sky high stilettos, there’s a lot on offer here. After trying on about a dozen different styles, there was one pair that I wasn’t going to go on living without because they spoke to my inner shoe demon – You know the one that does a little dance inside when you spot a fabulous pair of heels on the shelf. Your inner shoe demon demands you hand over your credit card, no matter the price tag. Usually I go home, walk down my hallway and experience terribly buyers’ remorse. Thankfully, I’ve managed to cage the demon recently and be a bit more responsible in my buying. American Express, I apologize for no longer owing you the world and more.
So back to these Coach heels. Like I said, there’s lots going on in store this season, but one pair in particular struck my fancy. I’m all about a multi-purpose shoe and Coach’s Ophelia Heel doubles as a sophisticated day heel from the front while also sporting a chic surprise detail in the back. So far they’ve been worn out and about with boyfriend jeans, a skirt suit and rolled up khakis. Versatility is the name of the game with a big purchase, people.
