Kardashians runway set influenced by Chanel?

Kim Kardashian today shared a first look at the runway set for the Kardashian Kollection, to be presented at Australian Fashion Week. Seems they're going with an international theme and using global landmarks to mark the occasion. Seeing the tall white sculpture of the Eiffel Tower, we can't help but draw comparisons to Chanel's over the top set constructions (It's no secret that the Kardashian family are big fans of the brand. We've lost count of how many Chanel bags they've been seen carrying).

Of course we'll be the first to point out that the two clothing lines could not be at more opposite ends of the spectrum here, but naturally every runway set designer is influenced by the great seasonal visions of Karl Lagerfeld. Just think back to the giant Chanel jacket, the massive globe, the carousel... They were all massive and all stark white.

Let's wait and see what the full set turns out to be, and, better yet, what the Kardashian Klan send down the runway for clothing at fashion week. These girls must be big in Sydney. Who knew?
