Mr. FFG and I have an ongoing joke about our feet. His are soft and lovely and mine are hard as nails. We put it down to the fact that he's a city boy and I'm a country girl who ran around barefoot every summer of my life. Hey, if you can do it, why not? Anyway, the only time my feet feel remotely feminine and lovely is after 90 minutes with a pedicure specialist. Such an event is definitely a luxury and trust me when I say if I could I would indulge weekly. Sadly, the bank balance reads for a different future. However, a change has come about due to a secret weapon that landed on my desk a couple of weeks ago. Scholl have released a device called the Express Pedi, which is a handheld machine that literally buffs away the years of running barefoot.
Now what might sound like a scary grinder is actually the easiest and most pleasant device to use. It has gentle rollers that banish hard skin from your feetsies and leave you with baby soft heels, etc. Considering a pedicure is running between £35 to £50 these days, a pricetag on the Scholl Express Pedi of £39.99 is quite simply unbelievable. This is definitely something I'd recommend to friends. In fact, I may even be gifting a few girlfriends from home who used to join me on my barefoot strolls around the house.
Now on to the competition bit... Scholl are so excited about their new Express Pedi and so confident that you'll want to show off your fine feet after using it that they'd like to give one lucky FFG reader a pair of designer sandals to wear out and about with their newly buffed soles.
Here's how it all works. You pick the pair of shoes you can't live without, up to a value of £250. You can choose from online stores like Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, or Net-a-Porter. Select the sandals you'd wear to show off some fine feet after a go with the Scholl Express Pedi and we'll choose one winner that will receive the pair they've fallen for. Just leave a comment below specifying your shoe choice and we'll select the winner on Thursday, the 1st of August. Open to UK residents only. Good luck all!
