Jumby Bay with heidi klein: Day two – on the hunt for locations

After settling into Jumby Bay yesterday, today was the first day of work on the heidi klein photo shoot for the new season ahead. Today we were scouting locations on this massive island. The crew made their way around Jumby Bay, seeking out the best spots for the most beautiful shots. Trust me when I say that this task is not an easy one, by any means.

When you are given one of the most beautiful islands on earth to shoot from, picking a select few places to shoot can be a nearly impossible task. That is of course unless you have the world renowned photographer Jonathan Glynn-Smith on the case (I can’t in fact take credit for the shots you see here as they are all to be credited to Jonathan).

While all this may look like a day in the park, I must add that there were some interesting adventures had by all today, including being completely drenched on a boat as we toured the island. Honestly, what we all do for fashion, eh?

We kick off, day after tomorrow, shooting the gorgeous model for the shoot. I won’t spoil the surprise now but I will say that she is one of the most striking women I have come across in some time and is absolutely perfect for the heidi klein brand.

Truly, there is not a more perfect location on earth to capture the new look for heidi klein. Trust me when I say that when you see the latest designs you’ll be planning your vacations well in advance just to have a place to wear these amazing creations. Secretly, I’m hoping I can put my own order in early. Oh how I wish I could say more. Stay tuned and, in the meanwhile, enjoy these beautiful shots that Jonathan has allowed me to share from the island of Jumby Bay.
