Isabel Marant named as next H&M Collaborator

This morning there is big news out of Sweden as H&M have announced their latest designer collaboration and it is quite an unexpected pick. Parisian Isabel Marant is the latest in a line of well established designers to take on role of collaborator with H&M.

The Isabel Marant Collection for H&M will launch on November 14th, 2013 in 250 stores worldwide and online. While Isabel Marant is known for her womenswear collections, she will, for the first time, create a line for men with this collection launch.

“I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honour. I aim at creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality” says Isabel Marant.

Bring on Isabel Marant for H&M, and with it the queues around the block to get a first look at the collection. This is definitely a different twist to the H&M collaborations and we have a feeling it’s one that will pay off. Watch this space as we’ll release images as soon as they are available!
