The real winner for Weight Watchers over the past few years has been Jennifer Hudson. She has truly transformed herself and cut an enviable figure. To make a long story short, she has brought a huge number of women over to the Weight Watchers brand with her results. Now, one would think that the hiring of Jessica Simpson would do the exact same thing. Although her last Weight Watchers commercial was not exactly inspiring but more fitting for the "American cheese" category.
I can only think that Weight Watchers thought that bringing the two together in their latest advert (above) would "double the pleasure, double the fun," while also perhaps making up for what Jessica Simpson lacked? However, Two ladies talking weight, life and the ease of getting back into skinny jeans, what's not to love? And it's perfectly timed for the post-New-Year weight loss rush.
So what I'd like to know is whether you are swayed? Does this weight loss duo have you reaching for your Yellow Pages to look up your local Weight Watchers meeting? Or are you scratching your head in confusion?
I'm happy for both of them - its great that they both FEEL great - but all I could focus on during that was "what is Jessica wearing??" JH looks amazing, but JS looks like her stylist was trying to hide something with all those layers around her middle. come on, we know she's preggers, embrace it! Poor thing does not look comfortable.
