Kate Upton has scored a major first... her first
Vogue UK cover. The
January 2013 features the leggy supermodel in winter whites sporting her signature sultry pout. This is definitely a first on many levels for Vogue UK. I think Alexandra Shulman said it best: "When I decided to
shoot Kate for our first cover of 2013, it was to kick off the year
with a young women who is not a stereotypical fashion model -
although, let's face it, she's hardly a heffalump!" How very true, "hardly a heffalump" and definitely a new beginning to what we hope will be a year of change for the industry. Bring on the curves! {

There's something so 90's, yet also modern, about this cover - I can't quite put my finger on it. It's absolute perfection and I think certainly a fresh start for the year.
