"What necklace is Emily Mortimer wearing on The Newsroom?" I have had this question DMed to me on twitter and emailed to my twice in the past three weeks. This morning I received another mysterious query so I thought I'd just go ahead and answer for the general public. A few weeks ago on twitter I announced that I was in love with The Newsroom and was happy to see Emily Mortimer wearing a piece from my favourite jewellery brand - Dogeared. For years now, I have worn a necklace from this brand. They are dainty and simple yet always get noticed.
Emily Mortimer is wearing the famous Dogeared Karma necklace in her star role on The Newsroom. This is not the first time we have seen the Karma necklace in the spotlight. Selena Gomez, Emma Watson, Mischa Barton, Kate Hudson and countless other celebs have stepped out in the necklace in the past. It's truly an elegant piece that is meant to be put on and never ever taken off.

Many of you have asked about the five disc gold necklace that Emily Mortimer wears. Good news... the people at Dominque Cohen actually got in touch to tell us the necklace is one of theirs. It's called the 5 coin drop delicate necklace and is available to buy online for $1,400.
Reminds me of the 'Carrie' necklace, simple statement piece, which is so rare to find.

DeleteI actually ordered this from Etsy and just received my necklace today!! It is quite nice for the price and the maker is such a pleasant to deal with. She lives in Israel so if you're in North America, factor in some time for delivery unless you're willing to shell out big bucks for faster shipping. All in all, I am quite pleased with my order!

I've had customers ask me about the disc necklace worn by Emily on the Newsroom as well as by Amy Brenneman on Private Practice. I have a necklace design similar that you can order with plain discs or with initials stamped on them (order an odd number for symmetry).
