Keeping your skin healthy should be as important as saving for that coveted handbag!

Every day I try to make sure FFG is full of the best fashion news, styling tips and exciting product launches out there. I also spend a lot of time talking about working with "whatcha got," whether that be working within your own closet with already purchased basics or playing up a unique feature you may have. As of late, I've also tried to spend more time talking about taking care of your skin. For many, a clean and healthy glow is the most important part of any outfit. You can wear a gorgeous dress and $600 shoes but if your skin looks tired and groggy, the look is lost on us all. Now I know there are problem areas for everyone, whether yours is sensitive skin, acne prone skin or skin damage from earlier in life. But truly, technology has come so far that there is a solution for almost every problem and most of these solutions come with reasonable price tags attached.

We can all do things to keep our skin healthy that costs next to nothing like drinking plenty of water, staying out of the sun, avoiding cigarettes like the plague and cutting back on booze. This might not be everyone's cup of tea, but each of these steps helps in maintaining healthy skin. For years, I have battled with severely sensitive skin and it wasn't until I moved to the UK, and discovered the facial skincare products from Simple Skincare
, that I really thought there could be a solution. From the Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes to their Vital Vitamin Day Cream SPF 15, I pretty much use it all to maintain healthy-looking skin.

Skin is truly your best accessory and for most of us it's the cheapest asset to maintain. It's all about finding what works and keeping up with a regime. Then truly anything (well almost anything) you put on will look fabulous because you feel confident in knowing you are putting your best foot, and face, forward.
