Another naked plus size model covers a magazine…why is this a trend?

Candice Huffine is one of the world’s leading plus size models. She has appeared in countless fashion editorials and graced several covers of prestigious magazines. However, the only time we see her fully clothed these days is when she appears in a clothing catalogue for plus size fashions. Why? Well, the fashion glossy elite seem to have an obsession with flesh when it comes to plus size models. Nearly every cover or editorial that features a plus size model shows off more flesh than clothing. Could it have something to do with the fact that they can’t find clothes to properly fit the models as sample sizes barely fit the smallest of women?

Fashion magazines are supposed to showcase trends and sell product. Placing a plus size woman on your cover should surely be an opportunity, just as any other, to sell a trend or item to the masses. So why then do magazine editors continue to insist on curves without clothes?
