Gareth Pugh Autumn Winter 2012

There are only a handful of designers walking the earth today that I would label as truly capable of taking the fashion enthusiast to another world with their catwalks. They define the world “fantastic”. Gareth Pugh is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of those designers. His catwalks take viewers to another realm and it’s complete bliss. For autumn winter Gareth stayed in a dark place and one felt that he was dressing the women of today for a global meltdown. Black petals lined the runway as model after model stepped out in black and grey from top to toe. It may be dark but it’s incredibly feminine as the clothes grabbed at all the right curves and rigged fabrics were offset by soft shaggy fur. From the boots the full on shagadelic jackets, I want it all!
