Well, folks, it looks like there is another edition of Vogue that I am going to have to subscribe to! Vogue Turkey has an amazing cover for June 2011 featuring the model Anna Jagodzinska in a gorgeous Roberto Cavalli number. This cover puts all the other Vogues for June to shame! Love, love, love!

Gucci release a new Sukey Bag to benefit UNICEF
Gucci has a long and established relationship with UNICEF and has worked diligently to help raise money to support UNICEF's Schools for Africa initiative. Their latest contribution comes in the form of a handbag for the cause. Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini has just released an updated version of Gucci's bestselling Sukey Bag. The new bag will see 25% of the retail price go directly to UNICEF, which will then help to provide a quality education to children in Africa.
Frida Giannini commented, “The Sukey is one of our most popular bags, which is why I chose to create a new and exclusive version for UNICEF for a second consecutive year.” She continued, “Our support of UNICEF's Schools for Africa initiative is extremely important to all of us at Gucci and we therefore hope this new Sukey bag will help to raise further much needed funds.”

Cadbury upsets Naomi Campbell
Looks like Cadbury picked the wrong Diva to mess with! The milk chocolate giant decided to compare Naomi Campbell to their new Bliss bar and all of the sudden the whole world is up in arms calling this a racism issue. Now anyone in the business knows that Naomi isn't someone to mess with. She has a temper like that crazy cat on Youtube we all can't stop watching! Basically, it's a no go area if you want to poke fun at the world of fashion. If Cadbury were in the room we imagine they'd have Naomi's mobile phone stuck into their skull about now (if you don't know what I'm referring to please google "Naomi Campbell Mobile Phone abuse").
The Independent ran a story on the outrageous ad this weekend and had the following quotes from Naomi on the dilemma, after Cadbury refused to pull the campaign: "I am shocked. It's upsetting to be described as chocolate, not just for me, but for all black women and black people. I do not find any humour in this. It is insulting and hurtful."
Naomi's mother even got into the game and said, "I'm deeply upset by this racist advert. Do these people think they can insult black people and we just take it? This is the 21st century, not the 1950s. Shame on Cadbury."
So, dear readers, I'd be interested to hear what you think? Bad decision by Cadbury, but do you believe this is just being taken out of context to an extreme or should they pull the ads because they are racist?
New discovery: A Piedi
You guys know I love my expensive indulgences just as much as the next girl. However, what I treasure most is finding a steal. This is happening more these days than ever. Sadly, steals usually come at a price and the quality of items is the first thing to drop when it comes to most bargains. So last week's discovery is a new shoe site that I have fallen absolutely head over heels for (pun totally intended). A Piedi is probably best described as a retail site that doesn't steal your money. They have a great selection of flats and sandals that are priced exactly as they should be, low! But the quality is phenomenal. I ordered a pair of the Cynthia flat sandals and they are absolutely lush! The leather is gorgeous, rich and luxurious and I had to pinch myself that they only cost £45 (plus shipping, of course). I received them on Friday and wore them out this weekend. Five women, strangers in fact, asked me where I got my new footwear. One even asked me if they were Hermes. THAT comment sent me over the top! I do love that someone would think I could afford to prance around in brand new Hermes sandals. If only!
I went back to the site this morning to see if I could order a few more pairs to show off around town next weekend and am saddened to find that the few I had selected are already sold out. Looks like I'm not the only one to have recently discovered this shopping gem.
It's worth a look so if you have a minute today check it out... http://apiedi.co.uk/
Roger Vivier Look Book Autumn Winter 2011
This has to be one of the coolest look books we have ever received! Roger Vivier sent over their Autumn Winter Collection in sticker form! That's right, each one of these pages looks like a school book but has removable stickers for each item featured in the collection. That's just way too much fun for one day. We are currently in the process of trying to decide where to put them, but have made a small collage of our must have items as the last picture in this post! Thanks Roger Vivier, for thinking outside the box and keeping it interesting!

Kate and Wills cover Vanity Fair July 2011
Aw, the happy couple! The Daily Mail has just released details of the latest issue of Vanity Fair July 2011 and it's all about Will and Kate and their happy new life together! The cover image was taken by Mario Testino and inside we are given a glance of what their daily life together will include. We also can look forward to some juicy tidbits concerning their honeymoon. Me thinks this will be a sell out!
Vanessa Paradis covers Vogue UK July 2011
Vogue, I want to love you every month, I really do. But this issue makes it tough, very tough. Vogue is meant to be about glamour and sophistication. It's supposed to be the glossy I pick up and aspire to. We don't use that phrase "She looked like she walked straight out of Vogue", for nothing. However, this cover lets me down on so many levels but mostly with the horrendous hair styling and the expressionless face. I believe Andre LT would call it "dreckitude" Sorry, Vanessa Paradis, nothing against you. It's just not capturing your full beauty or grace at all! You were robbed!

Brora channels Celine Resort
An interesting discovery was made last week! Brora, the clothing company known for their "cashmericals", have just released a blouse and trouser combination that look remarkably similar to a jumpsuit that sashayed down the catwalk for Celine Resortwear 2011. However, one must admit that a blouse/trouser combination affords us with much more versatility than a jumpsuit. So, if you loved the look of Celine but want a more practical approach to your purchase, consider investing in the silk separates from Brora.
Pool partying with BaByliss
Last week Fashion Foie Gras were invited to a swanky pool party to be introduced to three revolutionary hair stylers from BaByliss. We played with the Root Boost (our new favourite big hair assister), the Wave Envy and the Big Hair dryer. Each and every styler is an aid we'd love to have in our morning routine. Long gone are the days of using only straighteners and curling irons. Who knew we could do so much with our hair? Here's a look at our night with BaByliss, complete with Henry Holland handling the music and delightful culinary treats making the rounds!

Chloé announces new faces for new campaign
We've just received word that the ink has just dried on a new contract for Imogen Poots and Camille Rowe Pourcheresse. The two 21 year old actresses have signed on as the official faces for Chloé's fragrance for the new advertising campaign, which will be shot by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadinwill and will appear worldwide in September! Previous famous faces who have modeled for Chloé' fragrance include Raquel Zimmermann, Anja Rubik, Clémence Poésy and Chloé' Sévigny.
Here's a little info on the fresh new faces for the campaign:
Imogen Poots is a face you may recognize as a famous English actress. She's starred in popular films such as "V for Vendetta", "28 Weeks Later" and "Solitary man". This is the first time Imogen has acted as the face of any brand!
Camille Rowe Pourcheresse is quite a famous face in fashion. The french model/actress has worked with some of the most prestigious photographers in the business and recently starred in "Our Day Will Come", alongside Vincent Cassel.
“Imogen Poots and Camille Rowe Pourcheresse are the perfect choice to represent the timeless and iconic Chloé fragrance. They both embody the Chloé woman in their own way: Imogen incarnates the natural and youthful side of the Chloé woman while Camille embodies her seductive and modern facet”, said Françoise Mariez, SVP International European Marketing Licenses, Coty Prestige.
Kim Kardashian's fiance models for GQ
Ah, ok, now we get it! Check out the pictures of Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian's fiance, in this month's GQ. My, my he is a handsome man. Kim and Kris recently announced their engagement on the cover of People Magazine with Kim sporting a whopping 20.5 carat diamond ring! They definitely seem to think that embracing the media is the right way forward and who can fault them for it? Seems if you play the game with the press, you are more likely to be in control of what's being said. We wish the happy couple all the happiness in the world!

Gisele Bundchen covers V Magazine Spain Summer 2011
Gisele Bundchen is flipping out, with her hair that is, for the cover of V Magazine Spain Summer 2011. How does she look as if she hasn't aged a day in the past ten years? We want those genes!
Anna Paquin in Zac Posen for True Blood Poster
First of all, can we all take a deep breath and contain our excitement at the fact that a new season of True Blood is upon us! Eric and Bill will once again battle it out for Sookie Stackhouse and now there's a hunky werewolf involved as well. What's not to love about this scenario? The latest posters for season 4 were released this week and we were thrilled to see Sookie Stackhouse (AKA Anna Paquin) wearing a Zac Posen Dress. The dress is currently available to purchase on Net-a-Porter for £1,405. This will surely see a sell out as who wouldn't want to reproduce the look seen above? However, if you don't have the cash to splurge now, check out this similar look for less at Oasis...

Tod's launch Signature Collection in Shanghai
Oh to have been in Shanghai last night where Tod's put on the most amazing event to launch the new Tod's Signature Collection. This is a new range of luxury leather goods for the brand that celebrates the Gommino pattern, for which Tod's is famous for. The luxurious evening perfectly displayed the level at which Tod's operates. A gala dinner for 150 people was set up in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel and attended by a list of who's who in China. The night began with a special premiere of Red Touch, Dancing a Dream, a film starring the famous Chinese ballerina Honglan Hou, and continued with guests enjoying a look at the new luxury collection, which will launch in stores this Autumn.
President and CEO of the Tod’s Group Diego Della Valle says, “This evening is to celebrate the arts and culture and to announce this very special project, underlining our commitment to China and the Far East in general. Italy has a great cultural tradition – it is part of our way of life. Through these kinds of projects, we can express a part of our Italian soul. It was a natural choice to globally inaugurate our new Tod’s Signature collection here because our strong relationship with this country goes beyond just the market.”
Here's a special look at what you can expect to see in stores (and of course future September issues)...
Drive a Gucci... they don't just make handbags anymore
Someone out there is taking us pretty seriously when we say we want to be designer-ed up in every single part of our lives! The latest big brand collaboration news falls on hot pavement this summer, and we're not making reference to a catwalk down Times Square in August. Nope, we're talking about the fact that Gucci and Fiat have joined forces to make beautiful cars together! We were recently given a look at the 500 by Gucci, a special edition Fiat 500 which was customised by the sultana of style herself, Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini, and we must say this is one stylish little getaway vehicle! Just imagine a Gucci bag on wheels. Or at least that's how we'll be picturing it as we try to scoot into tiny parallel spaces on the streets on London. The price for this speeding bullet is what you would expect to pay for a quality Hermes Birkin bag...and the last time I checked your Birkin couldn't haul you to a destination at 60mph! Prices start at £15,765 and of course vary based on your specifications for the vehicle.
“The 500byGucci will enlarge the audience for the already successful Fiat 500, reaching those fashionista customers who want to have a unique car to distinguish themselves,” says Elena Bernardelli, marketing director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK. “And the online sales process adds another dimension to the individuality of this special model, creating an even greater sense of exclusivity and exceptional customer service.”
Expect to see Fiat 500byGucci rounding corners in the UK this summer!

So I've told you for about the past year that my secret spot for jewelry is Chico's. It seems a lot of you are listening as I've recognized more than a few of you wearing these gorgeous pieces out and about. Well, now that the secret is well and truly out there I have no problem sharing the latest and greatest selection that just came up online. It is turquoise heaven and with prices that are out of this world cheap. These are pieces you'd see in many stores going for $600 or even $1,000! Well they might want to reconsider their pricing after seeing the new necklace I just scored for $28! And that's your bargain du jour! Enjoy!
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley covers Elle UK July 2011 Subscriber's Issue
No word yet on what the actual cover of Elle UK July 2011 will be. But we do have this teaser of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on the cover of the subsciber's issue. Rosie is shot by Terry Tsiolis for the special issue. Make sure to check back for news on the mag's official cover...it should be out soon!
Daily Dream Bag: The Chanel 2.55
I don't think I'd be wrong in saying that the Chanel 2.55 is every girl's dream bag. Who wouldn't want this gorgeous piece sitting on their shoulder? You walk takes on a whole new strut when Chanel is swinging on your side. That's why it's our Daily Dream bag today and every day after!
Mélodie Dagault covers Diva Austria May/June 2011 in Prada
Well, we had to have at least one more Prada Spring Summer 2011 cover before it was all said and done. Pretty soon these pieces will be old news and no longer brightening our glossy fashion editorials. That will be a very sad day indeed. So we are delighted to see Diva dressing Mélodie Dagault in Prada for their newest summer issue. On a side note, not sure if you've heard yet but this morning it was announced that the Prada IPO is currently estimated at $15billion!
