We've seen them everywhere, including the famed wrists of Michelle Obama, Jessica Simpson, Daytona Fanning, Heidi Montag, Sandra Bullock...and the list goes on and on! I'm not going to lie to you, dear reader, these accessories cost a pretty penny! However, if you've learned anything from this blog you are aware of the fact that I'm always on the look out for ways to replicate high end designer pieces at high street level prices.
So, imagine my absolute happiness when a little birdie gave me the following tip: You can buy watches that take the same time and look damn near identical to the designer pieces for only £18!!!! I am not lying, I swear! They are from our favourite high street retailer - BURTON! Ok, I know it's a men's brand but who cares? Men's watches are all the rage for women right now! They make our wrists look small and dainty and who doesn't love that?

They are available, currently, in blue, yellow and black. Today I'm sporting the yellow piece and I've already been stopped twice by women wanting to know where they can get one!! LOVE it!

FFG's Daily Fashion Blog Recommendation: Fashionably Petite
Now this might seem like a bit of a strange recommendation for a blog, coming from me. I speak so often about the difficulties of being so tall that I'm sure you are all ready to tell me to zip it. But I do understand that women come in all shapes and sizes and someone that is petite has all the same problems as me, just on a different scale! FashionablyPetite is a woman who is definitely not small when it comes to her place on "the scene" in NYC! She is absolutely everywhere. Missoni presents Autumn Winter 2010-11 in a film by Kenneth Anger
Waiting for the September issues to run your Autumn/Winter campaigns is so last year! Example one: Missoni. I have just been sent a preview of their Autumn Winter campaign on email and surprise, surprise, it's not a still image campaign. In fact it couldn't be any more different from a print campaign. Instead it's a film by Kenneth Anger that makes the viewer feel as if they are seeing the Autumn Winter Collection for the first time through a kaleidoscope! And...it features several members of the Missoni family! Let's see if you can spot them all...
Thank you, Missoni, for pushing the limits of creativity this year. However, we still can't wait to see the print campaign (yes, it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks).
