Alexander McQueen to be the exhibited Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Spring Show

The banners will read “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty,” this spring for the Costume Institute exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The exhibition is planned to run from May 4th to July 31st and will display highlights from the collections of the great Alexander Mcqueen – about 100 pieces in total. Pieces will be borrowed from the McQueen London archive, the Givenchy archives in Paris and several personal collections including the Isabella Blow Collection.

This means there will also be a run on Alexander McQueen dresses for the annual Costume Institute Benefit Gala, which will launch the exhibition on May 2nd!

What a wonderful tribute to a fantastic artist.
