Oxford Circus Benetton store re-opening party

Benetton impressed us all this evening with a beautiful in store party to celebrate their newly refurbished Oxford Street location.  First of all, it looks fab. Benetton takes a step back in time and once again embraces their multi-coloured platform with rainbow stairs and rainbow wall decoration.  Rainbows are even seen on sweater walls and t-shirt tables (I’m starting to think they should collaborate with Skittles for in store candies). The clothes are not far off from what we have seen from Benetton in the past. They do stick to what works and they have learned a thing or two over the years about what works and what doesn’t.  I was particularly keen on their fair isle draped sweater coats (to die for), LBDs with knitted cowl necks and fingerless elbow length gloves and particular the Miu Miu look alike clutch. I will most definitely be returning for a proper shop.  It’s always dangerous to shop after the third glass of champagne so I kept my credit card in my wallet on this trip.  However,  you will find me in there on Saturday morning seeing what kind of damage I can do!
